The fact that not only can you choose the gender of your playable character for throughout the game, you can edit their features so they can look more like the person you want is awesome!
What I thought was clever and kudos to THQ© for this, is at the start you're aren't 100% sure of your character's gender or what your character looks or sounds like, because they're wearing a costume and voice changer thing. (That is until you decide in Steelport Police Department) That is clever. Well done.
Another great thing is the loading screens. Every gamer hates them. In Saints Row The Third© the loading screens take like a second to load and also they have some great pictures. One of my favourite is the smoking Prof.Genki© :
The purple colour associated with Saints Row The Third© is eye-catching, different and completely unisex. I love the clothes in the game too! One of my favourite shops is Let's Pretend, where you can dress up as a Prof.Genki, a superhero, a blue cat, or just go completely wild. Also if you like running around in the nude, you can..
Don't get me started on the trailer!
It's crisp, HD trailer, leaves much to the imagination. If you've already played it, then some things in the trailer you'll understand. For example the girl with her laptop at 1:24, or the 'Revive your homie' at 1:41. Also I love the song on this trailer. It's on the radio station 'Rhyme' in the game. I love driving around in the game listening to Kanye West - Power.
This wacky game is really worth buying in my opinion. If you enjoy Grand Theft Auto© then you'll enjoy Saints Row. I've only played the third one, but already (I'm sorry) I prefer it over GTA. Granted, GTA and I had good times, but I felt it was missing something. Saints Row filled that void with it's bonkers storyline and gameplay. Those thugs scared the poop outta me though.
